Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed January 1, 2026. MIOS Health is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology.
Our standard
We build this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA— the current standard referenced by federal courts and the U.S. Department of Justice for digital accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix, and some parts of the site may not yet be fully conformant.
What we've built in
- A visible “Skip to content” link on every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Semantic landmarks, heading structure, and labeled form fields throughout the site.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element, with an optional bolder outline in the Accessibility toolbar.
- Color contrast tokens chosen for at least WCAG AA text contrast on our light theme.
- Full keyboard operability (including Escape-to-close and focus trapping) for the Mentis Chat and Accessibility Preferences panels.
- Respect for your device’s reduced-motion, reduced-transparency, and increased-contrast settings, with an additional manual override available in the Accessibility toolbar.
- Ongoing automated and manual review of new pages and components before release.
About the Accessibility preferences toolbar
The toolbar in the bottom-left corner of this site (or the Ctrl+U keyboard shortcut) lets you adjust text size, contrast, grayscale, link highlighting, dyslexia-friendly font, text spacing, line height, left alignment, image visibility, motion, cursor size, and focus-outline visibility to your own preference. It is a genuine convenience feature that changes how the page is displayed in your browser, and your choices are saved in your browser and restored automatically on your next visit. It is not an automated compliance tool, and we do not claim that it — or any overlay widget — makes a website accessible on its own. Real conformance comes from the code-level work described above.
Known limitations
Some third-party embeds or legacy pages may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA. We prioritize and remediate issues as we become aware of them through our own review and through the feedback channel below.
